The best low cost Make Up Products you need!

I often get asked what are the best make up products out there. In truth there are so many items that are low cost and greta, some are awful though, it is a case of buyer beware. When I am recommending make up admittedly mostly full of products that would be considered luxury brands. Working in beauty means I am dealing with clients who want high end items on their skin, and rightly so, they are paying for the service.

But I am a thrift shopper for myself when it comes to the cosmetics aisle and I am pleased to tell you that there are some cheap(er), cheerful products that deliver on pigment and glow and coverage while faring slightly better on your purse strings. What I love most is that this really is the great thing about beauty – you can splurge or save and still end up with something quality.

So this list is about lower cost items, perfect for anyone starting out in make up or watching your pennies! Keep in mind these are personal choices, so seek out more reviews if you’re considering adding to your face.

While I like more expensive foundations, there are some low cost options that are brilliant and really help the skin. With all products, they may work for someone but not for you, so just try them all out!

Revlon ColourStay Foundation gives you a natural coverage and lasts all day. Apply with a brush and buff it into your skin.

Another great option is Maybelline Fit Me Foundation. This was one that I loved to wear daily. If you want it to last longer apply a primer below it. Coming in a range of colours you can find something to match your skin.

This foundation is gorgeous, with a full coverage in a range of colours is a really good buy! The Ordinary Coverage Foundation.

Concealers NYX Can't Stop, Won't Stop Liquid Concealer, L.A. Girl Cosmetics Pro Conceal these both come in a HUGE range of colours and some colour correctors that hide redness etc. Lightweight it glides onto the skin and brightens any complexion.

Eyes & brows NYX Professional Makeup Precision Brow Pencil, Rimmel London Scandaleyes Reloaded Volumising Mascara. I love low cost mascara, you can really whack it on to pump up these lashes. Apply from the inner corner, right at the roots and wiggle the brush on the way out.

Cheeks Rimmel Blush Palette, Golden Bronze, I love blush and especially when it come in trios of colours. No face is complete without highlighter Max Factor Facefinity Powder Highlighter is lightweight and glides onto the skin with ease, without that messy build up.

Lips are something that you can definitely save some money on, most lipsticks come off with regular eating, drinking and talking. Some more expensive option do last longer but you are going to have to reapply any colour that you use. Some of my favourite lip products are:

Rimmel Lasting Finish Lip Pencil, is soft and glides onto the skin with ease. Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick is agin a soft lipstick with a satin shine. It is very comfortable to wear.

KIKI Milano lip liner is a beautiful soft line with lots of natural colours that let you perfectly match your lips. Kiko Milano SmartFusion Lipstick, coming in a range of colour and softens the lips while adding colour.
