THE SECRETS OF A PRO MUA (MAKE UP ARTIST)

Have you ever wanted to know the little tricks that us Make Up Artists do but never share? Well here are my top tips on trick of the trade! Enjoy!
Mixing foundation with moisturizer is an easy way to lighten your coverage options if you already have a fuller coverage foundation
To make your foundation thicker, mix in a touch of loose powder. Be careful not to add too much or it will cake.
Apply a nourishing oil like coconut or almond oil, to your eyebrows before going to bed. This will guarantee extra strength and growth, you will see thicker eyebrows in just a few weeks.
If you want to find the perfect red for your complexion, try applying one lip colour that has the same undertone as your complexion all over the lip: Cool uses cool, warm uses warm.
Dab a crème based concealer all over lips to neutralize the lip tone and to make the lip colour more vibrant.
Make your lips bigger by using a shimmer on the top part – the cupid bow, this is where the light hits them.
Use a shimmer all over your skin post powder for an ultimate dewy, glowy, fresh face look.
Apply your regular face primer all the way up into the brows so your brow colour or your eye shadow won't budge or smudge.
Gently use the handle of a brush to lift the eyelid at the base of the lashes to roll your lashes up and back; this allows you to wiggle the mascara wand against the base of the lashes and pull through any clumps in a clean and precise manner
To reduce horrible eye puffiness, pop eye lotion in the freezer just 5 minutes before using it and apply to lids before eye makeup.
